In 2000, an anonymous letter and two photographs landed on the desk of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, a creature caught raiding a back porch for apples, since known as the Myakka Skunk Ape. It hasn't been seen since. It hasn't left either.

Robert the Doll rides along on its back, a small nod to another piece of Florida's dark side.
